Indian cricket team captain, Virat Kholi played down the “hype” surrounding the high-profile upcoming T20 World Cup match against Pakistan, and said that India vs Pakistan is just another game for us.Virat also said that India has never lost any game of World Cup against Pakistan either its an One Day International (ODI) or T20. However, the Indian team is fully confident that this time also India will not break its record and will easily defeat its neighbor.
When he was asked that does he feels different during his match against Pakistan, he said, “I honestly never felt so,”Virat Kholi said, “I have just approached this game as another game of cricket and I know there is a lot of hype around this game, more so with the ticket sales and demand of tickets,”
The indian skipper also showed disappointment over the high prices of the tickets of the match.He said, “… and right now, the value of those tickets are ridicously high and that’s all I know, my friends are demanding tickets right left and centre and I am saying, ‘NO!’,”
“Apart from that, I don’t think we can make anything extra out of this game of cricket that has to be played in the right sprit, in the way we know we can’t,”“YES!, the environment you can say is different from outside and from fans point of view, definitely more excitement in the air but from a players point of view, we try to stay as professional as we can and always approach the game in the most normal way possible,”’
