A senior police official was martyred and three others sustained injuries in an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
آپریشن میں سپرنٹنڈنٹ آف پولیس (ایس پی) اعجاز خان نے جام شہادت نوش کیا جب کہ ایک ڈپٹی سپرنٹنڈنٹ پولیس (ڈی ایس پی) زخمی ہوئے۔
محکمہ انسداد دہشت گردی (سی ٹی ڈی) کے مطابق مردان کی تحصیل کاٹلنگ میں فائرنگ کے تبادلے میں دو مطلوب دہشت گرد بھی مارے گئے۔ ان میں ایک محسن قادر بھی شامل تھا جو انتہائی مطلوب عسکریت پسند تھا۔

واقعے کے بعد زخمی پولیس اہلکاروں کو فوری طور پر اسپتال منتقل کردیا گیا۔
واقعے کے بعد ایس پی اعجاز کی نماز جنازہ ادا کی گئی جس میں ڈسٹرکٹ پولیس آفیسر (ڈی پی او) نجیب اور دیگر پولیس حکام نے شرکت کی۔
The operation was conducted early in the morning, according to intelligence reports.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Naseem Khan was one of the injured officers who was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Many police and government authorities have expressed their condolences for SP Ejaz Khan’s sacrifice and the other officers’ injuries.
At the Mardan Police Lines, senior law enforcement personnel and other dignitaries attended the funeral prayers for the deceased SP.
