Pakistan to Construct Electric Vehicles with Chinese Firm – Hamad

اسلام آباد: وفاقی وزیر توانائی ، حماد اظہر نے جمعرات کے روز کہا کہ پاکستان نے گذشتہ سال دسمبر میں وفاقی حکومت کے ذریعہ منظور شدہ ای وی پالیسی کے نتیجے میں بڑے پیمانے پر ٹرانزٹ کو بجلی کی طرف بڑھایا گیا تھا۔

Taking to Twitter, the federal minister Hammad Azhar said that BYD, the largest global electric bus manufacturer along with a Pakistani company will manufacture electric vehicles in Pakistan under the new agreement.“BYD, the largest global electric bus manufacturer along with Sapphire group have joined hands to develop market development & manufacturing of electric vehicles in Pak,”.The motorcycles and vehicles would be shifted on electric power, while Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Units would also be established in the country.

He stated, “In the long run, electric cars save much more fuel cost than petrol-run vehicles,” and XinjianJingyi Cheng Group places a strong priority on the research and development of cars with cutting-edge technology and resource integration.

Mr. Baig requested that the delegation from the Chinese company speed its investment plans, as this will benefit both parties. He pointed out that Chinese automakers are well-liked by Pakistanis and that China is at the forefront of the development of critical technologies for electric cars.
