Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday filed a petition seeking the recusal of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq from the Toshakhana case.

آئی ایچ سی توشہ خانہ کیس میں سیشن عدالت کے فیصلے کے خلاف پی ٹی آئی سربراہ کی دو اپیلوں کی سماعت کر رہی ہے۔
According to the plea, Imran’s “right to justice” was impacted because his biometric was not exempt despite multiple requests.
Additionally, it said that it “speaks for itself” that the PTI chief’s detention from the IHC grounds was lawful.
“The applicant has compelling legal and reasonable grounds to argue that the hearing on the changes should be postponed until after the writ petition’s ruling.
Therefore, Imran Khan requested that the Chief Justice graciously decline to hear the revisions on the matter and/or make an order directing the revisions to be transferred to any other bench for additional court proceedings.
