Drone Attacks Prompt PSL 10 Schedule Revision

Drone attacks hit several Pakistani cities — Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, and Karachi — creating serious safety concerns for both players and fans. DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif confirmed that these attacks resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to four soldiers.

He stated that the attacks intentionally targeted mosques and residential areas, violating both Pakistan’s airspace and international law.

Pakistan’s Swift Military Response to Aggression

In swift retaliation, Pakistan’s armed forces shot down five Indian Air Force jets and a combat drone. Moreover, they destroyed several brigade headquarters and check posts along the Line of Control (LoC). DG ISPR clarified that India had fired the missiles from its own airspace and labeled the strike as a cowardly act.

The targeted cities — Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Ahmedpur Sharqia Bagh — sustained infrastructure damage and civilian casualties due to the missile attacks.

Global Condemnation and National Unity

Speaking to CNN, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif pointed out that Indian media itself acknowledged the crash of three aircraft in Indian-occupied Kashmir. He strongly condemned the attacks, noting that targeting civilians, especially women and children, blatantly violated international humanitarian law.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the nation and declared that India had made a grave miscalculation. He emphasized that Pakistan would respond accordingly to this act of aggression.
