SLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday launched an initiative for automation of power of attorney for overseas Pakistanis, saying it would help the diaspora in acquiring legal documents, ARY NEWS reported.
اس سہولت کا پردہ اٹھانے کی تقریب کے دوران خطاب کرتے ہوئے، وزیر اعظم نے کہا کہ انہوں نے 2019 میں اس اقدام کو شروع کرنے کا فیصلہ اس وقت کیا جب ایک بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانی نے پی ایم پورٹل پر بتایا کہ انہیں اپنے قانونی دستاویزات حاصل کرنے میں کس طرح دشواری کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔
"وہاں سے ہمیں پی ایم پورٹل کو ڈیجیٹل کرنے کا منصوبہ ملا، جس سے سمندر پار پاکستانیوں کے لیے آن لائن پلیٹ فارم کے ذریعے مختلف سہولیات تک رسائی آسان ہو گئی،" انہوں نے ملک کے لیے بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کی خدمات کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا۔ ملک کا سب سے بڑا اثاثہ
He claimed that the diaspora’s faith in Pakistan has resulted in a record US$30 billion being sent to the country under their governance.
He said, “We have owned the Pakistanis living abroad, and now that they have the ability to vote, every government must help them to cast their nine million votes.”
Imran Khan also lamented Pakistan’s sluggish acceptance of technology, saying that not adopting it is merely foolish and that it has made life easier elsewhere.
