ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday has launched Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card scheme in Islamabad. the scheme, all families of Islamabad, Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Tharparkar will be provided free medical treatment at government and private hospitals.The card will enable every family to avail healthcare facilities up to one million rupees in a year.
پی ایم نے کہا کہ صحت کے مسائل لوگوں کے لیے معاشی مسائل پیدا کرتے ہیں اور اس اسکیم کے پیچھے ہمارا وژن یہ ہے کہ جب وہ بیمار ہوں تو کم از کم انہیں معاشی پریشانیوں سے نجات دلائیں۔
اس سے ملک کے مذکورہ حصوں میں صحت کے بنیادی ڈھانچے کو بہتر بنانے میں بھی مدد ملے گی، وزیر اعظم عمران خان نے کہا اور مزید کہا کہ عوام کو صحت کی سہولیات کی فراہمی ایک تاریخی کامیابی ہے اور ترقی یافتہ ممالک میں بھی لوگوں کو انشورنس پریمیم ادا کرنا پڑتا ہے۔ ہیلتھ انشورنس حاصل کریں.
Dr. Sultan urged that the Sehat Sahulat facility be provided to the residents of Tharparkar, Punjab, Azad Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and the erstwhile Federal Autonomous Territory (FAT). He went on to say that the hospital accepts Universal Health Coverage health cards for free medical services.
The SAPM further stated that health cards will be provided to all permanent residents of Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad beginning in January of the following year.
