BEIJING: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday arrived in Beijing on a four-day official visit to attend the opening ceremony of Winter Olympics and meet the Chinese leadership.

بیجنگ اولمپکس کی تقریب میں شرکت کے علاوہ وزیراعظم چینی صدر شی جن پنگ اور وزیراعظم لی کی چیانگ سے ملاقات کریں گے اور مختلف امور پر تبادلہ خیال کریں گے۔
دونوں فریق دوطرفہ تعلقات کے تمام پہلوؤں کا جائزہ لیں گے، جس میں سی پیک سمیت مضبوط تجارتی اور اقتصادی تعاون پر خصوصی توجہ دی جائے گی۔
The cooperation between China and Pakistan in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic has been outstanding. President Dr. Arif Alvi visited China in March 2020 as a sign of solidarity with the Chinese people.
Pakistan is among the first countries to endorse and take part in President Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The primary project of the Belt and Road Initiative, CPEC, advances the goal of economic autonomy set forward by the Pakistani government.
Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and a dismal state of the world economy, China’s non-financial direct investment in BRI member countries reached $17.99 billion from January to November 2021, an increase of 12.7% year over year.
One project that will revolutionize is CPEC. Out of the seventy early-harvest initiatives, forty-six have been started or finished, including a $25.4 billion investment that has produced 80,000 jobs locally.
