Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressing grief over the killing of a Pakistani-origin family in Canada, urged the international community to holistically counter Islamophobia.In a tweet on Tuesday, the premier termed it a “condemnable act of terrorism” saying that the incident revealed growing Islamophobia in Western countries.”Islamophobia needs to be countered holistically by the international community,” he added.

Religious and community leaders expressed prayers and condolences in memory of the victims as the event came to a close.
As they waited to cross the street on June 6, Salman Afzaal, his wife Madiha Salman, Afzaal’s mother, and their 15-year-old daughter were all killed.
