SLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi will visit Kuwait on Monday to offer condolences over the sad demise of the emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
دفتر خارجہ نے اتوار کے روز ایک بیان میں کہا ، صدر کویت کے نئے امیر شیخ نواف الاحمد الجابر الصباح سے ملاقات کریں گے اور پاکستان کی قیادت ، حکومت اور عوام سے گہری ہمدردی اور تعزیت کا اظہار کریں گے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان اور کویت کے درمیان قریبی برادرانہ تعلقات ہیں۔ امیر مرحوم کی سربراہی میں ، باہمی تعاون نے ایک نئی سطح کو حاصل کیا۔
مرحوم امیر شیخ صباح الاحمد الجابر الصباح پاکستان کے ایک مخلص اور قابل اعتماد دوست تھے۔ انہوں نے دونوں ممالک اور عوام کو قریب لانے میں انمول شراکت کی۔
اس نے مزید کہا ، "دوطرفہ تناظر اور علاقائی امن و استحکام کے لئے ان کی کاوشوں کو طویل عرصے تک یاد رکھا جائے گا۔"
Prior to his departure, the President’s office made a statement stating that Pakistan and Kuwait had a deep fraternal bond.
“Bilateral collaboration reached a new level under the late emir’s direction. The late emir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah was Pakistan’s true and reliable friend.
“He significantly aided in the closer relationship between the two nations and their populations. His contributions to regional peace and security as well as bilateral relations will be deeply remembered.”
According to his spokesperson Sediq Sediqqi, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani will visit Kuwait to offer his condolences for the passing of the former emir. Ghani departed Doha on Monday for a meeting with Qatari officials.
