Fans of cricket across the world rejoice at Pakistan’s tremendous victory in the PakVsIndia game. After the #MaukaMauka memes, the social media is now flooded with the post-match theme, trolling the Indians after Pakistan grabbed victory against India in the T20 World Cup match.
The Asia Cup squads and groups, which include both India and Pakistan, were confirmed by the Asia Cup Committee in January 2023.It was suggested in March 2023 that Pakistan continue to serve as hosts and that all India games, including the two India-Pakistan matches, would take place at a neutral site that has not yet been determined. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka rejected Pakistan’s proposed hybrid approach. PCB Chairman Najam Sethi made two suggestions in response. The first option was for Pakistan to host the remaining nations while India played all of its matches at a neutral site.
Another alternative was to have the second phase—the Indian team’s matches and the subsequent stage matches, including the final—take place at a neutral site, with the first four group stage matches taking place in Pakistan. Bangladesh and Sri Lanka decided on the second option. The Asian Cricket Council declared on June 15, 2023, that the competition would follow a hybrid format, with four matches taking place in Pakistan and the remaining nine in Sri Lanka.[
