KARACHI: 54 per cent of Karachi’s population is still unvaccinated, almost a year after the Covid-19 vaccination began in the country, data shared by the Sindh Health Department showed on Wednesday.

محکمہ نے کہا کہ صوبہ سندھ کی 45.44 فیصد آبادی کو کوویڈ 19 کے خلاف ویکسین دی گئی ہے جبکہ 1.21 فیصد آبادی کو بوسٹر خوراک ملی ہے۔

The data unequivocally demonstrates that the scope of such an anomaly cannot be anything like what is being alleged, even though it is difficult to be positive that there was no underreporting or inaccuracy among Karachi’s population. Even in its current configuration, it has grown tremendously during the past 20 years. Let’s go on now that we are aware of this. Nevertheless, any alterations to Karachi’s delineated boundaries, in addition to the city’s peculiarly low growth rate of 1.4%–1.5% in the districts of Karachi Central and Karachi South, which contributed to the population decline in the city, must be examined.
