12 جنوری 2022 اور بعد میں 28 جنوری کو طے شدہ توسیعی فنڈ سہولت (EFF) کے تحت 1 بلین ڈالر کی قسط کا چھٹا جائزہ اور ریلیز، پاکستانی حکام کی جانب سے درخواست موصول ہونے کے بعد دو بار پہلے ہی ملتوی کر دیا گیا تھا۔
حکومت نے تجویز کردہ مالیاتی سخت اقدامات بشمول فنانس (ضمنی) بل، 2021، جسے منی بجٹ کے نام سے جانا جاتا ہے، اور اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان ترمیمی بل 2021 سمیت چھٹے جائزے کو ملتوی کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا۔

The country’s GDP would grow by 2.6 percent in the fiscal year that ends in June, according to Pakistan’s finance minister. It is anticipated that the average annual inflation rate will be 24%, which is less than the prediction from the previous fiscal year.
