ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that there is no shortage of essential commodities in the country, ARY News reported.
ملک میں گندم اور کھاد کے ذخیرے کا جائزہ لینے کے لیے ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے وزیراعظم نے کھاد کے ذخیرہ اندوزوں کے خلاف فوری کریک ڈاؤن اور منافع خوری اور ذخیرہ اندوزی مخالف قوانین کے تحت ان کے خلاف تعزیری کارروائی کا مطالبہ کیا۔
اجلاس کو بتایا گیا کہ 6.6 ملین میٹرک ٹن سرکاری گندم کا ذخیرہ موجود ہے اور 2021 میں ربیع کی فصل کے لیے کھاد کا مناسب ذخیرہ بھی دستیاب ہوگا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ذخیرہ اندوزوں اور منافع خوروں کے خلاف قانونی چارہ جوئی کی جائے گی۔
At a National Coordination Committee (NCC) meeting the day before, Prime Minister Imran told the chief minister that he would be in Karachi the following week.
“I will sit with you to draw up a complete plan to help Sindh government,” the prime minister was quoted saying in a statement released by Sindh CM House.
Chief Minister Shah acknowledged the call from the prime minister and his offer of assistance. Shah called the state of affairs in Karachi a “disaster” and claimed that the rains have affected almost the entire province of Sindh.
