Gayle, an Indian Premier League player for Kings XI Punjab, says he’s had enough of the biosecurity bubble.Prior to the World Cup, he expressed his desire to unwind a little. Since making his IPL comeback, Gayle has participated in two games for the squad.

Chris Gayle withdrew from the 14th Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) on Thursday, citing bio-bubble fatigue. The Punjab Kings, led by KL Rahul, are still in the running to make the playoffs with eight points from ten games played. Their next game is scheduled for Friday at Dubai International Stadium against Kolkata Knight Riders.
