Islamabad (Web Desk): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has uploaded the Income Tax Returns Forms for Tax Year-2020 on its website.

The income tax return forms for the 2020 tax year have been uploaded by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). For small merchants and the salaried class, FBR has significantly streamlined income tax returns. For the tax year 2020, small merchants with sales up to $10 million must now file streamlined one-page income tax returns. Through the Tax Aasaan application and web interface, income tax returns can be filed.
Here at FBR HQ, Member IT Asim Ahmed, Member IR Policy Ch. Muhammad Tarique, and Spokesman for FBR Syed Nadeem Hussain Rizvi made this announcement during a press conference. It was also notified that the wealth statement form had been further simplified, and that the tax return forms for the 2020 tax year had been updated to eliminate any uncertainty or misunderstanding that filers may have been experiencing. Additionally, the taxpayers receive instructions on how to fill out all the necessary information. Member IR Policy Ch. Muhammad Tarique described it as “like a guided tour.”
With a smartphone, you can file your income tax returns online by downloading the Tax Aasaan app from the Google Play Store. The FBR officers also disclosed that there would be a media effort to raise awareness and provide education. The official website now provides the video lesson for filing income tax returns.
Facilitative Desks have been established by FBR at every field formation around the nation to help taxpayers file their income tax returns. Because of system upgrades, FBR will no longer permit system choking during the final days of filing tax returns. Taxpayers have until September 30, 2020, to file their income tax returns.
