1.Eid ul-Adha

Eid al-Adha or  Festival of Sacrifice  is the second of two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide. The sacrifice paid by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to kill his son Ismail in the name of God. Before Ibrahim could sacrifice Ismail, however, Allah replaced him with a lamb symbolizing mercy and the necessity of accepting God’s will.

Eid ul-Adha is public holiday in several Muslim-majority countries, typically lasting for three or four days.
