The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has announced reducing one subject each for the matric and ninth classes.
بورڈ کے ترجمان نے کہا کہ سیشن 2024-26 کے لیے صرف نویں جماعت کے طلبہ اسلامک اسٹڈیز کے امتحانات دیں گے جب کہ میٹرک کے طلبہ پاکستان اسٹڈیز کے امتحان میں شریک ہوں گے۔
ترجمان نے مزید کہا کہ اسلامک سٹڈیز کے نمبر 50 سے بڑھا کر 100 کر دیے گئے ہیں جبکہ پاکستان سٹڈیز پر بھی یہی لاگو ہوتا ہے۔
اہلکار نے کہا کہ چونکہ نمبرز بڑھے ہیں، پنجاب ٹیکسٹ بک بورڈ کو ترقی کے مطابق کتابیں چھاپنے کو کہا گیا ہے۔
مزید برآں، BISE لاہور نے یہ بھی اعلان کیا ہے کہ پنجاب میٹرک کے امتحانات برائے 2024 یکم مارچ سے شروع ہوں گے۔
It is anticipated that fewer subjects will relieve students of undue academic pressure, enabling them to focus more intently on grasping key concepts and enhancing their performance as a whole.
Schools and other institutions must adapt their teaching methods and curriculum design to meet the new BISE Lahore regulations.
