ایک Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has softened its stance towards the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) hybrid model suggestion for the Asia Cup albeit conditionally.

A few days earlier, the PCB had written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, asking for formal permission to visit India for the 50-over showcase. The letter was also copied to the departments of foreign affairs and the interior.
Sharif set up a high-level committee under the direction of Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto to decide Pakistan’s participation in the significant event.
But there were also allegations that a security committee had been sent to India to inspect the venues where Pakistan would play before clearance.
