ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Senator Ayub Afridi has resigned as member of the upper house of Parliament to create a seat for Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance Shaukat Tarin in the Senate.

Ghee, lentils, and wheat are being provided by the government at 30% discounted costs as part of the scheme, according to Tarin.

But what we really need to do is raise the per capita income, and luckily, our economy is expanding by five to six percent. The public will benefit from a much-needed break in revenue as a result, according to Tarin.

The senator stated that Pakistan’s gas supplies are running low when discussing the current nationwide gas load shedding.

Our gas reserves are depleting by 9–10% year. But there have been several finds in areas like Lakki Marwat, which will boost our gas reserves, according to Tarin.

We think that these commodities’ prices will decline in the upcoming months, which would benefit local markets,” he stated.
