Qureshi Visits Warwork Soldiers at Afirm Rawalpindi

Foreign Minister(FM) Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday visited Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM), Rawalpindi, reported, quoting Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, visited the Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM) in Rawalpindi today.

The Foreign Minister met with war-wounded soldiers, inquired about their well-being, and was given a comprehensive briefing on AFIRM’s functions and accomplishments. For combat wounded soldiers who have sacrificed their lives in several military operations, AFIRM is a premier rehabilitation center. Furthermore, this state-of-the-art organization provides aid to military troops and civilians affected by accidents, natural disasters, violent crimes, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs).

He noted that the nation as a whole is proud of its armed services and acknowledges their efforts and successes, regardless of whether they were fighting in a war, building infrastructure across the country, or providing internal security.

The foreign minister observed the soldiers’ high morale and thanked them for their contributions to regional peace and security.

The surgeon general of the Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Nigar Johar, was also present on this particular occasion.

He praised the soldiers’ efforts to the region’s peace and security and expressed gratitude for their strong morale.
