ایک (ICC) has confirmed that the United States and the West Indies will host the Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024.

The United States and the West Indies will co-host it from June 1 to June 29, 2024.

America and the West Indies will host the ninth T20 World Cup.

The 2024 Men’s World Cup is a biannual Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket competition. Men’s national teams are fielded and organized by the International Cricket Council to compete in the T20 World Cup.

The fastest and most often used cricket format is Twenty20. The 50-over World Cup is a quadrennial competition, whereas the T20 World Cup takes place every two years.

Fewer nations are able to participate in the sport because of its longer limited-overs structure. The International Cricket Council (ICC)’s expansion of the T20 World Cup could expand participation to more nations and promote growth.

The competition will feature a record 20 countries, a four-fold increase from the 16 that participated in Australia in 2022.  The competition, hosted by the United States and the West Indies, also includes the top eight countries from Australia.

According to their ranking in the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings, two additional countries were automatically qualified. The final eight teams to advance were decided by regional continental qualifying.

America, the co-host nation, Canada, and Uganda have all qualified for the men’s World Cup for the first time. This is also America’s first time participating in the tournament.

Following their victory over Pakistan in the championship match, England became the defending champions. India, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands all qualified for the competition. Bangladesh and Afghanistan advanced via the ICC Men’s T20I Team Rankings.
