The Islamabad Kings, Karachi  Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, and Lahore Qalandars are the teams competing for the title in this tournament.

It should be mentioned that since the financially successful Indian Premier League (IPL) began, there have been more T20 leagues played worldwide, with several nations hosting their own franchise competitions.

The PSL was founded in 2016 and held its inaugural season with five teams. Since then, the nation’s T20 league has performed admirably and is now regarded as one of the best in the world, primarily due to its exceptional bowling standards.
