Muhammad Hafeez scored the game-winning knock in the final matchup between Multan Sultans and the Lahore Gaddafi Stadium.
He scored the most runs for the Lahore Qalandars. In his 46-ball 69, he hit nine boundaries and a six. Throughout the hosts’ 20-over total, he shared partnerships of 58 runs with Harry Brook and 54 runs with Kamran Ghulam.
Even though he gave up 23 runs in his four overs and removed Aamer Azmat and captain Muhammad Rizwan, the show went on. The Multan squad was dismissed for 138 in 19.3 overs and lost the match by 42 runs.
Mohammad Hafeez scored 323 runs from 13 games at a strike rate of 118.69 and an average of 38.11.
