PM Imran and Usman disscusion on civial administration and law

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at CM Secretariat on Wednesday.They exchanged views on the matters pertaining to civil administration and law and order. The prime minister ordered to take immediate steps to serve the masses effectively.

Chief Secretary Kamran Ali Afzal and IGP Rao Sardar were also present.Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar with Health Minister Yasmin Rashid held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

They discussed the matters related to construction of new hospitals across Punjab. The minister briefed the prime minister about excellent acknowledgment of the National Sehat Card.The prime minister ordered to expedite work on the projects providing the best facilities to the people. He also asked the minister to apprise the people about the benefits of the Sehat Card and its effective use.

Punjab local government elections consultative conference was chaired by Chief Minister Buzdar one week prior. Several federal ministers were also present at the event.Motions concerning party concerns and the forthcoming elections for local bodies were examined.

The officials emphasized that direct elections would significantly alter the political landscape of the local bodies and that party-based elections might promote actual leadership at the local level. They also promised to confer with the party prior to submitting strong candidate proposals.
