PIA Resumes Direct Dubai-Skardu Flights

PIA resumes its direct flight service from Dubai to Skardu, starting Friday, May 30, 2025. The move highlights PIA’s commitment to enhancing tourism and connectivity in the region.

To mark the occasion, the PIA office in Dubai hosted a cake-cutting ceremony attended by Pakistan’s Consul General, H.E. Hussain Muhammad, and members of an international tourist group. Their presence on the inaugural flight reflected growing interest in Pakistan’s scenic northern landscapes.

Regional Manager Sarmad Aizaz, along with his team, hosted the ceremony. They expressed excitement about the initiative, emphasizing its importance in strengthening ties between the UAE and Pakistan. Moreover, this direct route will provide travelers with easier access to Skardu’s breathtaking views.

Recently, PIA also announced the launch of direct flights from Lahore to Paris, starting June 18. These new weekly flights aim to meet growing travel demand between Pakistan and Europe.

PIA currently runs two weekly flights from Islamabad to Paris. The new Lahore-Paris route aims to enhance travel convenience and increase foreign exchange revenue.
