Pakistani students have been reportedly targeted by violent mob violence in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. There have been numerous reports of attacks on Pakistani students in different Kyrgyz cities. These attacks have taken the form of physical assaults, threats, and harassment. The students wake up to their institutions, public places, and hostel.

According to students who have witnessed these attacks, they are abrupt and unintentional. Gravely troubled by the attacks, the Kyrgyz government has promised swift action. President Sadyr Japarov has directed a quick investigation and increased police presence in areas frequented by international students. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is urging anyone with information about the attacks to come forward.

The Pakistani Embassy in Bishkek is making a concerted effort to support and protect the impacted students. Ambassador Faisal has stated that they are in close contact with Kyrgyz authorities to ensure the safety of their students.

The local and international communities have strongly denounced the attacks. Social media important role in protecting students. At the highest levels, the Pakistani government has voiced concern and is taking. Attacks on Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan recently brought attention to a serious safety concern and the urgency of taking immediate action.
