Pakistan Security Forces Eliminate 14 Militants in IBO

Pakistan Security Forces have successfully eliminated 14 Indian-sponsored militants in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in North Waziristan’s Datta Khel region, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operation was launched after credible intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists planning sabotage activities.

During the encounter, security personnel recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition from the deceased militants. A follow-up clearance operation is ongoing to neutralize any remaining threats in the area.

ISPR emphasized that Pakistan Security Forces are fully committed to eradicating terrorism, especially elements receiving support from hostile neighboring actors. The operation represents a significant step in maintaining national security and countering cross-border militancy.

In a related development, seven other militants associated with the group “Fitna al-Hindustan” were killed during two separate IBOs conducted in Balochistan’s Machh and Kalat regions. The confrontations resulted in the deaths of five terrorists in Machh and two more in Kalat. These individuals were responsible for multiple terror-related incidents across the province.

Officials reported the seizure of significant arms, explosives, and communication devices used by the militants. These successful operations underscore the growing efficiency and responsiveness of Pakistan’s counterterrorism forces.

The military has urged civilians to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to local authorities, reinforcing the importance of public cooperation in combating extremist threats across the country.
