Pakistan reported 57 new deaths. 3060 coronavirus cases

Another 57 people lost their lives to the coronavirus whereas 3,060 new infections were reported during the last 24 hours (Sunday) across Pakistan, showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.As per the latest NCOC statistics, after the addition of 57 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 20,308 which represents a ratio of 2.2 percent.The positivity ratio of coronavirus cases in Pakistan was 5.21 percent as 3,060 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 58,670 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 903,599 that returned positive after conducting 12,837,818 total tests so far.

The number of active cases in the country is 62,917 with 4,763 patients in critical condition.There were 2,693 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 820,374 with a 90.8% recovery rate.
PUNJAB
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 789 new cases in the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 334,760 with 23,367 active cases. In Punjab, 16 more patients died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 9,784. With 1,170 new recoveries, 301,609 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.

SINDH
Sindh has recorded 1,529 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 309,647 with 23,131 active cases. With 11 new deaths related to the deadly disease, the death toll in Sindh reached 4,920. With 599 new recoveries, 281,596 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 470 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 129,883 with 6,202 active cases. The province reported 26 new virus-related deaths as the death toll reached 3,950. With 490 new recoveries, 119,731 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.

BALOCHISTAN
Balochistan has recorded another 66 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 24,583 with 966 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll remains 270. With 116 new recoveries, 23,347 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
