PAK REGISTERED 6047 NEW COVID CASE IN LAST 24 HOURS

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 6,047 fresh cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours,According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), a total of 61,190 samples were tested, out of which 6,047 turned out to be positive, showing the infection rate of 9.88% as compared to yesterday’s 9.65 per cent.

 

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Pakistan has conducted overall 25,134,775 tests to diagnose the coronavirus including 61,190 tests during the past 24 hours.

The viral illness claimed the lives of 29 persons in the same time frame. According to the NCOC, there are now 1,436,413 confirmed cases in the nation, and 1,304,980 of those cases have resulted in recovery. 9,590 individuals recovered on Tuesday, bringing the total number of active cases down to 102,103. According to news agency Xinhua, 1,559 patients are receiving treatment in severe condition in intensive care units across the nation’s hospitals. Reports state that 29 more persons lost their lives to Covid-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of fatalities to 29,330.

Counting 544,722 infections, the southern Sindh province of Pakistan is the most impacted area in the nation.

6,047 new instances of COVID-19 were recorded in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, according to the National Direction and Operation Center (NCOC).
