Pakistan Army warns of decisive response to any Indian misadventure

Local

The Pakistan Army’s top brass reaffirmed the country’s commitment to peace but made it clear that any attempt to impose war will be responded in a decisive manner, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Friday.

Pakistan Army warns of a strong and immediate reaction to any Indian misadventure. The military leadership has clearly stated that while Pakistan seeks peace, it will firmly defend itself against any provocation, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Military Command Reviews Regional Situation

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir chaired a Special Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) at General Headquarters (GHQ). During the meeting, commanders thoroughly examined the current geopolitical environment. The review focused especially on Pakistan-India relations and the overall regional security situation.

ISPR emphasized that Pakistan will never compromise its commitment to peace. However, the military leadership firmly stated that any aggressive move will receive a decisive response. Moreover, the rights and dignity of the Pakistani people will always be protected, no matter the cost.

Pakistan Army Warns Against Destabilizing Moves

The forum clearly rejected any attempts to derail Pakistan’s path toward peace and progress. It stated that terrorism, coercion, and proxy aggression will fail. Additionally, Pakistan Army warns that it will firmly counter all efforts to destabilize the country.

Pakistan’s armed forces remain committed to defending national sovereignty. COAS General Munir praised the troops’ dedication, professionalism, and high morale. He also highlighted the importance of staying united with the public to ensure national security.

Focus on Kashmir and Border Security

General Munir urged all formations to remain alert and ready. The leadership expressed deep concern over India’s recent actions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Specifically, they condemned the targeting of civilians after the Pahalgam incident and along the Line of Control (LoC).

These incidents, they noted, serve only to raise regional tensions. In response, the Pakistan Army pledged to react proportionately and firmly whenever civilians are harmed.

India’s Strategy Called Out

The forum criticized India’s repeated attempts to exploit crises for political and military gain. According to the Pakistan Army, India often uses such tactics to shift focus away from internal problems. For example, after the 2019 Pulwama incident, India revoked Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Now, India appears to be using the Pahalgam episode in a similar way. This time, the objective seems to be diverting Pakistan’s focus from its western border and economic recovery. However, the army vowed that such tactics would not succeed.

Pakistan Army Warns on Water Rights and Terror Ties

The military expressed alarm over India’s efforts to challenge the Indus Waters Treaty. Such moves threaten Pakistan’s legitimate water rights and the well-being of over 240 million people. This, they stressed, is a dangerous escalation that could destabilize the region.

Moreover, the leadership cited credible proof of Indian involvement in terrorist activities within Pakistan. These actions, being state-sponsored, clearly violate international norms. Consequently, Pakistan will respond with resolve and clarity.

Unified National Defense

General Munir concluded the conference by reaffirming the army’s readiness and strong deterrence posture. He expressed full confidence in the forces’ ability to protect Pakistan from any threats.
