Nawaz Sharif Nominates Shehbaz As Next PM and Maryam As CM

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday decided to field Shehbaz Sharif as the prime ministerial candidate.

Sources divulged that PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz will be the candidate for the Punjab chief minister’s slot.

The final announcement of the PM’s name will be made along with the allied parties.

Nawaz Sharif had given his approval for the names of both Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz.

– Shehbaz Sharif expresses gratitude to Zardari, Bilawal –

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif expressed gratitude to former president Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari for announcing support to the former’s party.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the former premier minister said that he had held a telephonic conversation with Zardari and Bhutto-Zardari. “I have thanked them [Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto] on behalf of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif for announcing their support to the PML-N.”

“Hopefully, we [PML-N, PPP] will manage to steer the country out of the political and economic crises together.

Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the PML-N at the moment, has extensive experience in political leadership and administration.

As the party prepares for the elections.

It also demonstrates how influential and strategically minded Nawaz Sharif is still within the party.

Cm Punjab is nominated by Maryam Leadership. Maryam fous on inclusive Punjab, social changes, education, and youth development.
