Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry issued a stern warning to India against any attempt to block Pakistan’s water supply, stating that such an action would have consequences felt for decades.
DG ISPR Warns India of serious long-term consequences if it attempts to block Pakistan’s water supply. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), issued this warning in a recent media interview.
He stated that the government had already made its position on the issue clear. “No one should dare to stop Pakistan’s water. We hope such a day never comes, but if it does, the world will witness our response,” he said.
Blocking water for Pakistan’s 240 million people is irrational and dangerous. The DG ISPR called it something only a “madman” would consider. He firmly believes India lacks the courage to take such an extreme step.
Pakistan’s Stance on Peace and Retaliation
Pakistan’s armed forces prefer peace, but they will respond decisively to any violation of sovereignty. Lieutenant General Chaudhry stressed that the military targets threats, not civilians. Their actions are driven by responsibility, not revenge.
He also criticized India’s propaganda and media for misleading the public. According to him, Indian forces have even targeted their own Sikh-populated areas to increase hostility toward Pakistan.
“Celebrating the deaths of women and children is disgraceful and inhumane,” he remarked. He emphasized that such tactics only reveal the desperation behind India’s false narrative.
Global Implications and Nuclear Tensions
In a previous interview with Sky News, the DG ISPR warned that any threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty, security, or territory would trigger a strong military response. Both India and Pakistan are nuclear-armed nations, and any escalation could devastate the entire region.
He further explained that countries like the United States are now fully aware of India’s aggressive designs. These concerns highlight the importance of maintaining peace and respecting international agreements.
DG ISPR Warns India again: if peace is threatened, Pakistan is fully prepared to act swiftly and decisively.
