Court Review of Khawaja asif Demand for Witness Change

ISLAMABAD: The additional sessions judge accepted the plea of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Khawaja Asif to cross-examine witnesses in the defamation case.

The court summoned the witnesses on March 14 who had recorded their testimonies in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s defence in the defamation case against Khawaja Asif.

Earlier in January, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) had issued a notice to Prime Minister Imran Khan to submit comments on a petition by PML-N stalwart Khawaja Asif questioning the legality of the former’s statement in a defamation suit.

An SKMT representative stated that the organization’s goal is to use all of its resources, including those invested in its endowment fund, only to give the greatest treatment possible to cancer patients.

Like a lot of other charities, SKMT established an endowment fund to cover costs and ensure long-term financial stability. The investing committee oversees this endowment fund, and their recommendations serve as the foundation for all investment decisions made by the fund. The spokesperson claims that the chairman has never made investment decisions on their own.
