Cricket fraternity in shock over passing away of Dean Jones

Karachi: Cricket fraternity has expressed their grief and shock over the passing away of former Australian and Karachi Kings’ Head Coach Dean Jones.

The ODI cricket community grieved the death on Thursday in Mumbai of former Australia batsman Dean Jones, who transformed batting. Jones had a sudden heart attack. Jones,59, was in Mumbai with the Indian Premier League commentary team from Star Sports. He was in a hotel in the city, in a bio-bubble. His wife and two daughters survive him.

“I was shocked to learn of Dean Jones’s untimely passing. “I’m praying for courage and strength for his family and friends,” tweeted Virat Kohli, the captain of India.”The news regarding Dean Jones’s demise is absolutely terrible.Too quickly, a great soul was snatched away.
