COVID-19: 50 Deaths and 4,253 New Cases Reported last day

COVID-19 has claimed 50 more lives while 4,253 new cases have been reported during last 24 hours.

According to data issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday morning, there have been 50 additional coronavirus-related deaths in Pakistan in the last 24 hours (Tuesday), and 4,352 illnesses have been reported countrywide.

According to the most recent NCOC data, the total number of deaths has increased to 29,601 following the addition of 50 new cases, while the total number of illnesses has increased to 1,470,161 following the inclusion of 4,253 new cases.

In Pakistan, 51,749 tests were performed in the past 24 hours on Tuesday, with an 8.2 percent positivity rate. There were 1,731 patients in critical care.

As of Tuesday, 5,109 people had recovered from the virus, bringing the overall number of recoveries from the infection to 1,354,298. The overall number of active cases in the nation as of Wednesday was 86,262.

Thus far, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Sindh is at 554,012; in Punjab, 491,518; in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; in Islamabad, 34,910; in Balochistan; in Azad Kashmir; and in Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,987.

In addition, 13,285 people have died in Punjab as a result of the pandemic thus far, along with 7,927 in Sindh, 6,076 in KP, 990 in Islamabad, 764 in Azad Kashmir, 370 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit Baltistan.
