COVID-19: 13 MORE DEATH, 363 NEW CASE IN PAKISTAN

ISLAMABAD: As many as 363 fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, taking the tally of confirmed infections to 1,283,223.

A total of 37,148 samples were tested during this period, out of which 322 turned out to be positive, according to the latest data on the pandemic released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

 

The infection rate was recorded at 0.88 per cent, it said. Thirteen more people succumbed to the viral disease in the previous 24 hours, taking the nationwide death toll to 28,690.

The number of Covid-19 patients in critical care in hospitals has dropped to 998.

The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Thursday that 363 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours.

The National Centers of Disease Control (NCOC), which is in charge of Pakistan’s pandemic response, reports that the total number of confirmed cases in the nation has increased to 1,283,223.

According to the NCOC, 13, more people in Pakistan died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 28,690. Additionally, 1,002 individuals are listed as critically ill.

The NCOC reported that 1,000 patients recovered from COVID-19 during that time, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,240,995.

With 474,772 infections, the southern Sindh province is the most severely afflicted by the pandemic, followed by the eastern Punjab province with 442,714 cases reported.
