Gen Munir’s announcing to step : Unite Against Terrorism

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has urged the Pakistani youth to have immense confidence in their country, nation, culture and civilization and themselves.

He added that the youth of Pakistan should be sure that they are the offspring of a great homeland and nation.

He expressed these views while addressing “Pakistan National Youth Conference” at Jinnah Convention Center Islamabad on Wednesday.

Gen Munir said that it gave him great pleasure to address the future builders of Pakistan and Shaheen of Iqbal.

The Army Chief said that the youth of our country are the guardians of the bright traditions of this nation and country, the interpretation of the dreams of Iqbal and the Quaid.

He maintained that the purpose of creating Pakistan was that our religion, culture and civilization are different from Hindus in all respects and not for us to adopt Western civilization and culture.

He said that Pakistan Army can fight against terrorists, but the cooperation of the entire nation is necessary against terrorism.

He observed that the purpose of social media and propaganda is to spread uncertainty, chaos and despair in the society, adding that without research and positive thinking, society remains chaotic

“Allah Almighty says in the Holy Qur’an that; “O believers! If a transgressor brings you any news, confirm it.”

The establishment of Pakistan is similar to the Tayyaba state, both founded on the word “Islam”, the army chief said and added that Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with abundant mineral resources, agriculture and young manpower.

“Our forces are always ready against any kind of threat and conspiracy,” Gen Munir said, adding, “If there is Pakistan then we are, if there is no Pakistan then we are nothing,” the Army Chief maintained.

Pakistan will not compromise on its sovereignty and have full faith in the bright future of Pakistan and maintain the legacy of the ancestors, he vowed.

During the speech, the students also raised slogans of Pakistan Army Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad and Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad.
