HRISTCHURCH: English skipper Heather Knight has revealed her favourite Pakistan cricketer, said she is a big fan of Mohammad Rizwan.
Knight, who is here for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, made the revelation in an interactive session on the official Twitter handle of England Cricket.
In their ten league stage games, Multan’s captain led his club to nine wins. To secure their place in the title game, the team overcame Shaheen Shah Afridi’s Lahore Qalandars.
After the just concluded ICC T20 World Cup 2021, the wicketkeeper-batter finished with the third-highest run total. He scored 281 runs in six games at an average of 70.25 and a strike rate of 127.72.
The 29-year-old also made three fifty-score shots during the world tournament.
Muhammad Rizwan led the Green Shirts in scoring during their historic T20 World Cup victory over India. He made 79 runs off of 55 balls with the help of three sixes and six fours.
It is important to keep in mind that the English all-rounder will captain the team that is defending its title in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, which gets underway in New Zealand on March 4.
In the round-robin stage match, the four-time winners will face Bangladesh, the hosts New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia, the West Indies, South Africa, and India.
