Bella Hadid Honors Arab Heritage with Tattoos

Entertainment

AmericanPalestinian supermodel Bella Hadid is honouring her Arab heritage with meaningful new tattoos.

Bella Hadid is aware of how difficult it can be to quit getting tattoos once you start. The model just added two new, incredibly delicate shoulder tattoos to her collection, which appear to have personal significance.

The artist behind for the lovely creations, Dr. Woo, offered fans a sneak glimpse at Bella’s most recent ink embellishments on November 22. Bella’s new tattoos were shared on Instagram by the famous tattoo artist who also wrote, “Some writings for the always kind and lovely Bella Hadid.”

Two Arabic phrases are seen in the pictures; PopSugar translates them as “I love you” and “my love.” Both are beautifully written in an understated, elegant language, and they both look stunning on Bella’s shoulders. Given that Bella’s father, Mohamed Hadid, is a Palestinian-American, the tattoos are most likely a tribute to Bella’s Arabic heritage.

Bella hinted to the new artwork earlier this month on November 14th, when she tagged Dr. Woo in an Instagram Story picture of herself posing in the tattoo chair while sporting khaki cargo trousers and a Playboy tank top. In November, Bella shared a photo on Instagram of her dress and the décor of her New York City apartment, giving us a look of the tattoos.
