ABU DHABI: Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir has joined Bangla Tigers for the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League here at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
Amir was tested COVID-19 positive a couple of days ago after which he announced to withdraw from initial matches of the fastest format cricket league.
Now, the franchise has confirmed the joining of Amir by sharing a picture from his first training session with the team.
It is important to highlight that the Abu Dhabi T10 League is currently featuring thrilling matches. With four wins out of four, Team Abu Dhabi sits atop the points standings. Delhi Bulls, who have won three of their games, are in second place.
With three victories in their four games thus far, Bangla Tigers are presently ranked fourth in the standings.
It should be mentioned that Amir will be heading to Sri Lanka following the T10 league to play in the second Lanka Premier League (LPL) as a member of the Galle Gladiators.
It should be mentioned that Amir never passes up the chance to criticize PCB and the Pakistani team. He chastised them for losing the recent T20 World Cup against Zimbabwe and India.
The sixth edition of the competition, which takes place from November 23 to December 4, will take place at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
