In a disturbing incident, a girl kidnapped from Faisalabad-Karachi train has sparked outrage, as her family was allegedly drugged during the journey. The 10-year-old, Inaya, went missing while traveling with her family aboard the Shalimar Express from Faisalabad to Karachi.
Shagufta Bibi, the mother of Inaya, stated that fellow passengers near Sukkur gave them lassi during the journey. When she regained awareness near Landhi Station, she discovered that Inaya and the individuals who shared their compartment had vanished.
The incident, which occurred on May 28, has led to an FIR being filed at the Karachi Cantt Railway Station. However, even after several days, the child remains missing. The family has expressed frustration over the lack of significant progress in the investigation by the authorities.
Earlier, a separate kidnapping case was reported in Gharo, Thatta, where a seven-year-old girl was abducted while playing outside her house. ARY News obtained CCTV footage showing a man taking the child. In response, SSP Thatta Dr. Imran Niazi ordered law enforcement teams to monitor and patrol district routes intensively.
