Another Karachi Citizen Loses Life to Street Crime in Landhi

Another Karachi citizen became a victim of growing street crime on Friday. Armed robbers fatally shot Shah Fahd in the Landhi area after he resisted their demands.

According to rescue teams, Shah Fahd was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, doctors could not save him. This tragic incident is yet another reminder of the increasing danger faced by citizens in Karachi.

Crime Details: The attack took place in Landhi No.4 during a power outage. Two men on a motorcycle stopped Shah Fahd and tried to rob him. He resisted, and one of the robbers shot him in the throat, police reported.

Witnesses said that the street was poorly lit due to the power cut. This allowed the robbers to escape easily after committing the crime. Police are reviewing CCTV footage and conducting searches in nearby areas to identify the culprits.

So far this year, at least 34 people have lost their lives in similar incidents in Karachi. The city’s citizens are growing more fearful as law enforcement struggles to curb this trend.

Another Karachi Incident in April: In a similar case on April 9, 22-year-old Manzoor was killed by three robbers in Landhi’s Moeenabad. He resisted a robbery attempt and was shot on the spot.

These back-to-back tragedies highlight the urgent need for stronger security measures. Karachi’s residents are calling for better police presence and street surveillance to restore safety in their communities.
